The combination of the Vibiemme Domobar Super with the world famous Mazzer brand Mini grinder is perfect for the office (or a big family of caffeine addicts).

The main difference here is that the Mazzer Mini grinder is a small commercial grade grinder, with dosing chamber (doser) attached. The doser is the cylinder attached to the front of the grinder which catches the ground coffee, with a lever attached which is pulled to disperse the grinds into the portafilter handle.

It is generally accepted that a dosing chamber is preferable when making a lot of coffee, (this is why cafe grinders have them). However for making just one or two coffees at a time the doser can become an unnecessary nuisance. In this instance a doserless grinder such as the Imat Conical Burr Grinder might be a better option.   

The Mazzer Mini also has other attributes which recommend it to the office environment. It is capable of grinding coffee quickly and has large burrs which will last a long time before needing to be replaced. Being designed for cafe use it is also a very robust unit and will stand a fair bit of (ab)use!
