A blend typical of the northern Italian style of roasting (medium-dark rather than a true dark roast). This promotes the full flavour characteristics and enhances the body of the beans. The taste is smooth, rich and creamy.We've always thought that Milano was a great blend and the judges at the New Zealand coffee awards seem to agree with us - awarding the Milano blend a bronze medal in the flat white category in 2009 and a silver medal in the espresso category in 2010.
